We rent small and large equipment, including excavators, sky jacks, bobcats, lawn and garden equipment. We take pride in our customer service. As a member of our team customers service is one of your best assets.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p></p><p>Job: Small Engine Mechanic</p><p>Small engine mechanics inspect, service and repair motorized and non motorized power equipment, machinery, and tools. </p><p>When equipment breaks down your job is to identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems problems and make necessary repairs. Small Engine licensed mechanic or apprentice.</p><p></p><p>DUTIES</p><p> Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with lead mechanic.</p><p> Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs.</p><p> Sharpening saw blades.</p><p> Test and inspect rental equipment after each rental period for damages and equipment function.</p><p> Record any damages or malfunctions for management.</p><p> Repair or replace worn, defective or broken parts.</p><p> Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs.</p><p> Keep record of inspection, test results, work performed, and parts used.</p><p>SKILLS</p><p> Ability to use a variety of hand tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers for common tasks.</p><p> Ability to use compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters to test engine performance.</p><p> Ability to use pneumatic tools, powered by compressed air, or diagnostic equipment.</p><p> Customer service skills</p><p> Detail oriented</p><p> Dexterity</p><p> Mechanical skills</p><p> Trouble shooting skills</p><p><br /></p><p>What we offer:</p><p>Full time employment, year round</p><p>No weekend work, with the exception of Inventory time.</p><p>Extra long Christmas break to spend with family and friends</p><p>Dental, Health and vision benefits along with Life Insurance ( no cost to you)</p><p>Annual Wage Review</p><p>Hours are 7:30 to 5:00, Monday to Friday.</p><p>Direct Deposit Payroll</p><p><br /></p></p></p>
