<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p><strong>Position:</strong>High Pressure Laborer</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong>Experience based/ Overtime offered after 8 hours</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong>5/2 rotation</p><p><strong>Site Location:</strong>Lloydminster, AB</p><p><br /></p><p>Accommodations are provided when working out of town</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)</li><li>H2S Alive</li><li>First Aid (Considered an Asset)</li><li>Confined Space Entry and Monitor</li><li>Fall Protection</li><li>Mask Fit and Audio</li><li>Cenovus site orientations</li><li>PPE (provided by Vertex)</li><li>Steel Toe Rubber Boots requirement</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years of experience with operating High Pressure equipment 10, 15 and 20k pressure considered an asset</li><li>Experience performing jobs such as but not limited to; 3D Washing, Line Cleaning, Bundle Blasting</li><li>Knowledge and experience in Pulp & Paper, Thermal and Oil & Gas considered an asset</li><li>The requirement to work shift rotation, days, evenings and weekends when required</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in the safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to</li><li>Attendance and participation in toolbox talk and safety meetings, FLRAs, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips</li><li>Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers</li><li>Able to demonstrate competent operation of equipment</li><li>Ensure customer and client satisfaction by always providing excellent customer service</li><li>Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules</li><li>Ensure all training requirements are up to date and current</li><li>Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation</li><li>Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, waste manifests etc.</li><li>Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods; this is a 24-hour business and the hours can be erratic</li><li>Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites</li><li>Ability to lift heavy tools and parts</li><li>Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>LOCATION</strong></p><ul><li>Lloydminster, AB</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</strong></p><ul><li>A safe working environment</li><li>Versatile company culture that is ever expanding and growing</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Apply Now</strong></p><p>With a track record of success, Vertex provides a fast-paced environment where people thrive.
