<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>**PLEASE ONLY APPLY THROUGH JOB POSTING.**</b><br /><b>League Projects Ltd.</b></p><p>League Projects is a leading oilfield construction company that provides quality Pipeline Construction, Pipeline Integrity, Facility Construction and Module Construction to western Canada’s energy sector.</p><p><b>Position Title: Journeyman Pipefitter</b></p><p><b>Location: Lloydminster, AB</b></p><p><b>Position Summary:</b></p><p>League Projects is currently looking for an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team.</p><p><b>Required knowledge & Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision</li><li>Receives instructions, drawings and work orders from supervision</li><li>Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of pipefitting and trade techniques, properties of various materials and principles of applications of equipment and materials paying attention to close tolerances</li><li>Ability to read, interpret and determine information from drawings and specification</li><li>Sets up and operates bending, threading, cut-off and oxyacetylene burning equipment, and uses hand tools of the trade, to shape and fabricate piping</li><li>Ability to measure accurately, lay out work, cut, bevel, thread and fit pip</li><li>Makes and seals all types of joints, installs gaskets, packing and pipe supports, tests joints for leaks and applies various insulating materials and pipe covering</li><li>Inspects, installs, dismantles, repairs, and maintains various types of piping</li><li>Sets up pipe for welded or special type joints</li><li>Lock out and isolates equipment, taking necessary safety precautions</li><li>Keeps working area, tools and equipment in clean and orderly condition</li><li>Records and submits data relevant to job duties. Maintains log books as required by legislation and policy. Reports irregularities to supervisor</li><li>Responsible for active participation in and compliance with occupational health and safety, quality, environment, compulsory trade policies and procedures</li><li>Knowledge of the functional operation and purpose of the various piping system components</li></ul><p><b>Work Conditions: </b></p><ul><li>Full time work </li><li>Extensive travel required to various project locations</li><li>Work will be outdoors in various weather conditions</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter</li><li>2 years experience required</li><li>Valid safety tickets; Standard First Aid, H2S, Fall Arrest, AWP</li><li>Valid drivers license is required  </li></ul><p>Here at League Projects, we offer an engaging and inclusive work environment where hard work and a positive attitude are rewarded.
