This welder fitter full-time position is located in Hamilton ON for a very reputable manufacturing company.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Great starting pay rate of $25-$28/hr (plus $2.00 afternoon premium per hour)</li><li>Straight shifts -Monday to Thursday (4 pm to 2 am)</li><li>Fantastic team of people that you get to work with</li><li>Great location in the north end of Hamilton on a bus route</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Weld structural steel using FCAW to create strong, reliable joints.</li><li>Operate and maintain welding equipment, such as machines, grinders, and torches</li><li>Read and follow blueprints and welding instructions to ensure accurate work.</li><li>Safely operate an overhead crane to move materials and equipment.</li><li>Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.</li><li>Choose the right tools and equipment for each job to ensure good results.</li><li>Work well with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.</li><li>Take care of tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition.</li><li>Solve problems and find solutions when welding issues arise.</li><li>Help other departments like Assembly, Machining, and Mechanics to keep things running smoothly.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>2 years of experience in welding within a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Proficiency in FCAW (Flux Core) </li><li>Ability to operate various welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the welding industry.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.</li><li>Strong welding and fitting abilities.</li><li>Certification through the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) is an asset.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
