Keyano supports lifelong learning and regional development with a mission to educate to change lives.</p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>Keyano College is seeking a strategic, visionary, and collaborative leader to serve as its next <strong>Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer. </strong>This executive role is central to the College’s financial sustainability, operational excellence, and strategic alignment.</p><p>Reporting to the President & CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the VP Administration & CFO oversees six key areas:</p><ul><li>Financial Services</li><li>Information Technology Services</li><li>Facilities & Asset Management</li><li>Procurement</li><li>Security & Safety Services</li><li>Risk & Compliance Services</li></ul><p>This role provides strategic financial leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, manages enterprise risk, and fosters strong relationships with government, industry, and community partners.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for a ~$70M budget and $15–20M investment portfolio</li><li>Oversee IT infrastructure and cybersecurity</li><li>Manage facilities, capital projects, and safety services</li><li>Ensure compliance with legislation and institutional policies</li><li>Support governance through reporting and strategic advice</li><li>Champion innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation and a university degree in business, public administration, or related field (graduate degree preferred)</li><li>10+ years of senior financial/administrative leadership experience, ideally in post-secondary or complex organizations</li><li>Proven strategic thinker with strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills</li><li>Experience in unionized environments and working with boards and government</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary with Northern Living Allowance ($1,040/month)</li><li>Employer-paid health and dental benefits</li><li>Defined benefit pension plan (LAPP)</li><li>Tuition waivers, wellness perks, and generous vacation</li><li>Professional development funding</li></ul><p>Keyano College has engaged the Executive Search Firm, DHR Global to manager this search.
