Your journey begins here - become a part of our NTS team today!</p><p> </p><p> Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: <strong> 1-866-4-TRIMAC </strong></p> Pay Details: <ul><li>Trailer Mechanic starting pay $35.10 - $41.38 per hour (based on experience)</li><li>$2.00 shift premium for the overnight shift</li></ul> Schedule: <ul><li>Night shift, 5:30 pm to 5:30 am</li><li>7 days on, 7 days off </li><li>Monday- Sunday</li></ul> Job Details: <ul><li>Safe and professional work practices are mandatory</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and understand written instructions and communications and write job reports, work order summaries, and other record-keeping functions</li><li>Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems (troubleshoot)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, exercise good judgment and common sense and conduct him/herself professionally</li><li>Demonstrated good interpersonal and oral communication skills</li><li>Must be physically fit and of reasonable strength and endurance to perform the duties required in a tanker trailer shop operation</li><li>Able to perform duties in all weather conditions</li><li>Physical Demands include lifting, carrying, pulling/pushing, and climbing stairs</li><li>The majority of work is conducted in a Shop Environment with some light administration work occasionally required</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, this incumbent will utilize journeyman-level technical knowledge and expertise to perform complex mechanical tasks in the repair, maintenance, inspection, and certification of Trimac Energy Services' tanker trailer fleet with minimal supervision</li><li>Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well</li><li>Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, brakes, and suspension</li><li>Follow safety and use of proper PPE</li><li>Follow procedures</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Level 2-4 mechanic apprentice</li><li>Grade 12 graduate</li><li>Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies, and generally accepted work practices relating to tanker trailer shop operations</li><li>Full understanding of all elements of the job (i.e., shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, use of all hand and power)</li><li>Computer keyboarding skills and a basic understanding of computer business systems is desirable</li></ul> Benefits: <ul><li>Paid orientation and training</li><li>Pension Plan enrollment after 1 year of service</li><li>Holiday and vacation pay</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Life Insurance & Disability Insurance</li></ul> Additional Perks: <ul><li>$250/yr boot allowance after 1 year of service </li><li>$600/yr tool allowance after 1 year of service</li><li>Pension Plan enrollment after 1 year of service</li></ul> Safety Commitments: <ul><li>We make safety a part of every decision</li><li>We make safety personal</li><li>We have the courage to intervene</li></ul> Pay Range: CAD $35.10 - CAD $41.38 /Hr.
