<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are looking for an intermediate software engineer for our client to work on the integration of their product with other products. This is a permanent position that is remote to start (during Covid) with later relocation to <strong>Vancouver</strong>. Our client is a SAAS software company located in downtown Vancouver. </p><p>You Will:</p><ul><li>Collaborate on requirements specification (user stories) </li><li>Design, implement and test technical solutions that meet the requirements </li><li>Develop well-structured, maintainable code for web, mobile, and APIs</li><li>Pair with other developers on feature development, code reviews and bug fixing </li><li>Collaborate with the team on evaluation and implementation of frameworks and tools to help with development and quality </li></ul><p>You Have:</p><ul><li>3+ years in software development</li><li>Strong knowledge of developing: <ul><li>Large, integrated systems with many external dependencies</li><li>Web services and APIs (<strong>REST</strong> &/or <strong>GraphQL</strong>)</li><li>Web and mobile applications, end-to-end </li></ul></li><li>Experience using PHP (<strong>Symfony</strong>)</li><li>Intermediate experience using a type-safe language </li><li>Working knowledge of software design patterns </li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>Typescript</strong>/<strong>React</strong></li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>Linux</strong>, <strong>Git</strong>, <strong>Docker</strong></li></ul><p>Bonus: </p><ul><li>Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (ie. <strong>AWS</strong>) and their related SDKs and CLIs </li><li>Scripting experience (<strong>Python/Boto3/Bash</strong>) </li><li>Experienced in troubleshooting bugs and solving customer problems</li></ul><p>Perks:</p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Extended health benefits</li><li>3 weeks vacations</li><li>Professional development budget</li></ul><p>If this opportunity sounds like something that fits your career path, please apply to this posting; we&#39;d love to talk to you!</p></p></p>
