They are looking for a senior systems administrator to join their team. They provide the latest technologies in digital phone, high speed internet, web hosting, cloud and managed services. This role is in <strong>Kitchener.</strong></p><p>Your Role:</p><ul><li>Perform system migrations via Hyper-V and VMware.</li><li>Perform daily system monitoring to ensure availability and integrity of all hardware.</li><li>Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled tasks.</li><li>Ensure systems are fully patched and up to date.</li><li>Ensure backups are completed and verified successfully.</li><li>Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.</li><li>Deploy and configure servers with associated hardware and peripherals.</li><li>Migrate and maintain customer email platforms.</li><li>Investigate and troubleshoot infrastructure issues internally and for customers.</li><li>Ensure documentation is up to date and maintained.</li><li>Monitor and maintain data centers at various locations.</li><li>Monitor systems for uptime, security and availability.</li><li>Provide tier 2/3 technical support when required.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation. </li></ul><p>You Have:</p><ul><li>5+ Years Windows System Administration experience.</li><li>2+ Years Linux System Administration experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of network and storage fundamentals.</li><li>Strong understanding of monitoring software.</li><li>Microsoft Certification (MCSA or MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs.</li><li>HyperV, VMware or equivalent certification in relevant programs.</li><li>Experience managing enterprise virtualized environments in HyperV or VMware.</li><li>Experience managing enterprise scale email deployments.</li><li>Experience administrating Windows Server and Active Directory.</li><li>Experience deploying and managing NAS and SAN storage environments.</li><li>Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and clean driver&#39;s abstract.</li></ul><p>Bonus:</p><ul><li>Experience in an MSP environment.</li></ul><p>Perks:</p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Compensation for on-call rotation.</li><li>Health and Wellness Initiatives.</li></ul><p>If this opportunity sounds like something that fits your career path, please apply to this posting; we&#39;d love to talk to you!</p><p></p></p></p>
