Our Amico Accessories team is currently looking for a <b>Senior Buyer</b> to join our growing team.<br><br><b>Position Overview</b>:<br />The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. This role will involve supplier quality management, contract negotiation, cost control and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational and strategic goals.<br><br><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bilingual in Mandarin is a definite asset</li><li>Must have purchasing experience and be able to read manufacturing drawings</li><li>Formal college or university education</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships</li><li>Experience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, and custom manufacturing environment </li><li>Highly organized, creative and self-motivated</li><li>Excellent verbal and communication skills.</li></ul><br /><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPs</li><li>Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost, and the delivery objectives</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needs</li><li>Negotiate contacts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Perform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely manner</li><li>Ensure all activities comply with company policies, established purchasing processes, and quality management workflows</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p><b>Here are some of the perks that our Amico employees receive:</b><br />·         Competitive base salary.<br />·         Comprehensive benefits package.<br />·         Employer paid vacation<br />·         Employee referral program<br />·         Lots of opportunities to grow.<br><br>Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.<br><br>#AMICOAA</p></p></p>
