<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) Certified Office.<br /></strong><br />We are currently looking for a vibrant Registered Dental Hygienist. Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT Certification) is an asset but we offer and pay for training to a motivated individual. We are a unique office that has embraced the GBT system for the benefit of both our patients and our hygienists. The system provides a high level of clinical excellence and has the added benefit of significant improvements in the ergonomics and physical demands of the hygienist. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Reviewing patient medical history.</li><li>Scaling and prophylaxis.</li><li>Oral Cancer screening.</li><li>Assessing oral health and pre-diagnosis for doctor examinations.</li><li>Zoom Whitening.</li><li>Impressions.</li><li>Fissure Sealants.</li><li>Patient Education.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>3 to 5 years of clinical experience is preferred.</li><li>Software and digital savvy (understanding of the Dentrix software system is an asset).</li><li>Excellent diagnostic skills.</li><li>Outstanding ability to educate and communicate with patients.</li><li>The ability to work together with a dynamic team and support good periodontal health.</li><li>Full-time but flexible hours. Part-time can accommodate your schedule.</li><li>Experience with Zoom Whitening (or other whitening procedures), able to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment cases.</li><li>Able to use the continuing care list on Dentrix to contact and schedule patients during cancellations and downtime.</li></ul><p><br />We are looking to grow our team with like-minded, enthusiastic professionals who value high-quality clinical care and an exceptional patient experience.
