<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Be among the first 25 applicants. The Registered Care Aide provides assistance to patients with acute mental illness and substance use disorders under the direction of the Manager (or designate) and RN/RPNs, following the care plan and applying psychosocial rehabilitation principles in all care aspects.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide care and support to patients as directed by the care plan.</li><li>Utilize psychosocial rehabilitation principles in daily care.</li><li>Support a full range of hospital services as described by the facility.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry.</li></ul><h3>Shift Rotation/Hours</h3><p>Days, Evenings, Nights, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 23:00 to 07:00 (rotating).</p><h3>Location and Facility</h3><p><b>GR Baker Memorial Hospital</b> is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds.</p><h3>Services Provided</h3><ul><li>Full Emergency Medical Care</li><li>Laboratory</li><li>Diagnostic Imaging</li><li>Pharmacy</li><li>General Surgery</li><li>Internal Medicine</li><li>Otolaryngology (ENT)</li><li>Community Cancer Care</li><li>Physiotherapy</li><li>Respiratory Therapy</li><li>Environmental Health</li><li>Speech and Language Therapy</li><li>Visiting specialists in Cardiology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Ophthalmology</li><li>Video conferencing for consultations with specialists or physicians in other areas</li><li>Home and Community Care and Home Support</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><b>Quesnel</b> is a small city with big opportunity.
