<p>Are you an experienced <strong>Quality Assurance Manager</strong> ready to take ownership of Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement within a leading aerospace manufacturer? This is an opportunity to lead a diverse quality team, ensure compliance with <strong>AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements</strong>, and drive a culture of excellence across the organization and supply base.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Quality Assurance Manager ensures compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) while promoting quality throughout the organization and supplier network. You’ll be responsible for addressing all quality-related issues, leading root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement in support of aerospace and defense programs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance to internal <strong>QMS, customer, and regulatory requirements</strong>, as well as corporate policies and procedures.</li><li>Establish, review, and maintain <strong>internal and external quality metrics</strong> to measure operational performance.</li><li>Lead <strong>root cause investigations</strong> and implement corrective actions using industry best practices (5 Whys, Six Sigma, FPY, etc.).</li><li>Organize and facilitate <strong>internal and external quality audits</strong>.</li><li>Provide quality training, guidance, and mentoring to employees and suppliers.</li><li>Manage supplier quality, approvals, and supplier auditing.</li><li>Participate in customer interactions regarding <strong>quality scorecards, audits, and issue resolution</strong>.</li><li>Organize management review meetings and support process owners in identifying and mitigating QMS risks.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Reporting Structure</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Reports to: <strong>Director of Process Engineering and Quality</strong></li><li>Direct Reports: <strong>13 quality professionals</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Proven <strong>Quality Manager</strong> or <strong>Quality Assurance leadership</strong> experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.</li><li>Experience with <strong>AS9100 certification</strong> and <strong>Nadcap</strong> compliance.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>QMS and EMS frameworks</strong>, including creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Background in aerospace quality, gas turbine engines, or aerospace industry standards is an asset.</li><li>Technical ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection techniques.</li><li>Strong leadership experience with direct reports, mentoring, and training.</li><li>Expertise in <strong>root cause analysis, corrective actions, and statistical/process capability tools</strong>.</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>Flight Safety, H&S, Environmental principles, and OEM requirements</strong>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> If you’re passionate about <strong>driving aerospace quality standards</strong>, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring compliance across complex programs, we’d love to connect.</p><p></p>
