<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><br /><p><strong>Proposal Manager – Contract (Through Dec 2026)</strong><br /><strong>Toronto | $100K–$115K + Benefits | Opportunity for Permanent Hire</strong></p><p>We&#39;re representing a well-established construction firm in Toronto seeking a <strong>Proposal Manager</strong> for a long-term contract through <strong>December 2026</strong>, with potential to transition into a permanent position.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a proposal specialist with experience in construction, AEC, or real estate to take ownership of the full proposal lifecycle—from intake through submission and post-submission support.</p><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage and write compelling responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal opportunities</p></li><li><p>Coordinate across departments (BD, Estimating, PMs, Execs) to gather input and align on strategy</p></li><li><p>Edit and format proposal content to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency</p></li><li><p>Maintain up-to-date templates, CVs, project profiles, and case studies</p></li><li><p>Create proposal schedules, assign tasks, and keep the team accountable to deadlines</p></li><li><p>Lead quality checks and submission processes</p></li><li><p>Track pipeline activity and proposal outcomes in CRM (Salesforce or similar)</p></li><li><p>Support interview prep and post-submission debriefs</p></li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience in proposal writing or coordination (preferably in construction, AEC, or real estate)</p></li><li><p>Exceptional writing and editing skills</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of public/private RFP processes</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe InDesign, and CRM systems</p></li><li><p>Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple fast-moving priorities</p></li><li><p>Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)</p></li></ul><p><strong>The Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contract through December 2026, with potential for permanent</p></li><li><p>Salary: $100K–$115K</p></li><li><p>Benefits provided</p></li><li><p>3 weeks vacation + 5 paid personal/emergency days</p></li><li><p>Expense reimbursement for preapproved business expenses</p></li><li><p>Free parking</p></li><li><p>Phone and laptop provided</p></li><li><p>Reports to VP, Business Development & Marketing</p></li><li><p>Projects within the GTA</p></li></ul></p></p>
