<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>NOIC ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chinese Teacher to join our high school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous instruction in Chinese to students in Grades 11&12, preparing students for academic success and scientific literacy, while fostering a positive learning environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Plan, develop, and deliver effective Chinese lessons in alignment with the Ontario curriculum standards</p><p>· Assess, evaluate, and report on student progress using a variety of assessment tools.</p><p>· Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.</p><p>· Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.</p><p>· Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance student learning and collaboration</p><p>· Participate in school activities, staff meetings, mentor-teacher conferences, and professional development.</p><p>· Collaborate with the Admission Department to assign new students to mentors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in Chinese/ Literature, or a related field.</p><p>· Teacher Certification in Ontario (OCT) is preferred.</p><p>· Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Chinese at the high school level preferred.</p><p>· Strong knowledge of Chinese curriculum and pedagogy.</p><p>· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</p><p>· A commitment to student success and lifelong learning.</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
