Penticton Regional Hospital is a regional referral centre with 158 acute care beds, on-site primary maternity care clinic, and dedicated OR time for gynecological procedures. The OB/GYN department provides consultative services to family physicians and midwives. This locum opportunity offers the chance to work in a high-calibre medical environment, with a collegial team of about 50 specialists and a commitment to collaborative care.</p><p>Position details</p><ul><li>Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology position at Penticton Regional Hospital</li><li>Experience in consultative obstetrics, antepartum/intrapartum care, and gynecological surgery is welcomed</li><li>Duration flexible (from a day to a year); contribute to patient care and the hospital culture</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Work in a high-calibre medical environment alongside a team of specialists</li><li>Provide consultative obstetrics, antepartum/intrapartum care, and gynecological surgical services as part of the OB/GYN department</li><li>Support the regional referral centre’s maternity and surgical services</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><p>Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service</p><p>Estimated Remuneration: A minimum income guarantee is in place to help provide coverage for unfilled shifts until December 31, 2024.
