<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Benefits:</strong><br /><ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Free uniforms</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Opportunity for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Training & development</li></ul><br /><strong>Reports To</strong>: Mitigation Manager<br><br>Full-time/On-Call rotation<br />Hourly $25-$28 Based on <span >experience/certifications</span><br />Benefits<br><br><strong>What does a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Kingston do?</strong><br /><ul><li>Serve others within your community in their time of need</li><li>Make a difference for others that have had a disaster strike their property</li><li>Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e. mitigating flood and fire damage)</li><li>Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology</li></ul><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br /></strong>Damage Assessment:<br /><ul><li>Inspect properties and items to assess the extent of damage.</li><li>Document findings, take photographs, and create detailed damage reports using industry mobile apps and PC</li></ul>Restoration Planning:<br /><ul><li>Develop restoration plans and strategies to return assets to their pre-loss condition.</li><li>Estimate costs, timelines, and material required for restoration projects.</li></ul>Damage Mitigation:<br /><ul><li>Take immediate actions to mitigate further damage, such as securing structures, removing water, or preventing mould growth.</li><li>Set up drying and dehumidification equipment as needed.</li></ul>Cleaning and Restoration:<br /><ul><li>Clean and sanitize damaged areas.</li><li>Remove and dispose of debris and damaged items.</li></ul>Customer Service:<br /><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.</li></ul><br /><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong><br /><ul><li>Paid <span >training/Certifications</span></li><li>Health, dental and vision insurance</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Uniform</li></ul><br /><strong>Qualifications (Requirements):</strong><br /><ul><li>High school or equivalent required, knowledge of restoration techniques, tools and equipment preferred</li><li>Computer and mobile app skill required (Xactimate estimating preferred)</li><li>Desire to join a world-class team and contribute a positive attitude</li><li>Dedication to customer service</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean record</li><li>Willingness to work in emergency and on-call situations, including evenings, weekends and holidays.</li><li>Ability to lift 75 LBS frequently</li><li>Desire to continually learn new things</li></ul><br /><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up</li><li>Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.</li><li>Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.</li><li>Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.</li></ul><br />Please apply if you think you have what it takes to serve others and deliver a world-class service when others need it the most.
