<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Part-Time Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team.</strong></p><p><br />Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and work within our big box retailers, such as Home Depot, Rona+, Rona and Reno Depot. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities Merchandisers execute merchandising directives and establish a positive rapport with store personnel and customers, and relay information to Scotts Sales team regarding inventory<br />opportunities.</p><p><br />This a <strong>contract position </strong>with ending in August/September, with an average of <strong>8 to 12 hours per week.</strong></p><p>Typical weekday shift is 7am - 3:30pm. Weekday shifts are flexible. Weekend shifts may be required (Saturday 10am-2pm) from mid April to end of May.</p><p><br /><strong>Key Work Performed:</strong></p><ul><li>Merchandise Scotts products including restocking shelves, racks, and displays; cleaning and facing product; repairing or removing damaged items, etc.</li><li>Drive in-store sales in conjunction with Scotts Sales Manager</li><li>Assemble fixtures and displays in-store.</li><li>Install and maintain point of purchase materials.</li><li>Provide recommendations and product knowledge to both consumers and retail customer associates.</li><li>Provide consumer product education.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>What you will need to be successful:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong initiative, self-directed, reliable and able to work independently with little supervision</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to routinely walk, stand, climb a step grip ladder up to 4m (12ft), handle some heavy lifting (implying bending, kneeling) and standing for extended periods of time.</li><li>Comfortable working in/outside in all weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends</li></ul><p><br /><strong>A few other things we will expect from you:</strong></p><ul><li>Live within 25 km’s of the respective location of Lloydminster, AB</li><li>Current valid Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record which meets company criteria.</li><li>Must have access to a car during work hours or reliable transportation</li><li>Must have access to a computer, printing capabilities, smart phone</li><li>Must have Steel Toe boots/shoes (green patch)</li></ul><p><br />To further understand what it is to be a Merchandiser for Scotts Canada, use this link<br />to view: <span >https://scottsmiraclegro.com/careers/canadian</span>-merchandisers/</p><p>THIS IS NOT AN EXCLUSIVE OR EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF ALL JOB FUNCTIONS<br />AND DEMANDS THAT AN EMPLOYEE IN THIS JOB MAY BE ASKED TO<br />PERFORM FROM TIME TO TIME.</p></p></p>
