Our products make a real impact, helping to change lives in the mobility industry.</p><p>As a <strong>Mechanical Engineer</strong>, you will play a key role in developing new and improved products while solving production challenges. You’ll use <strong>SolidWorks</strong> extensively, but hands-on problem-solving, prototyping, and clear communication are just as important. You’ll have access to a <strong>full <span >machine/fabrication</span> shop, 3D printing, and sewing/upholstery facilities</strong>, as well as direct collaboration with trusted local and overseas suppliers from prototype to production.</p><p>This is an <strong>in-office position in Vaughan, ON, near Highway 400 and Teston Rd</strong>.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and improve products, from concept through production</li><li>Solve production challenges and collaborate with manufacturing teams</li><li>Create engineering specifications, drawings, and test plans</li><li>Work hands-on with machining, fabrication, and prototyping tools</li><li>Support regulatory compliance, including <strong>FDA-compliant design documentation</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p>✔ <strong>Mechanical engineering degree</strong> required<br />✔ <strong>SolidWorks proficiency</strong> required (experience with surfacing/NURBS modeling is a plus)<br />✔ Experience creating <strong>engineering drawings</strong><br />✔ Hands-on <strong>mechanical design experience</strong> outside of classwork required<br />✔ Some <strong>fabrication or machining experience</strong> necessary (sewing experience is a plus)<br />✔ Strong <strong>communication skills</strong> (written and verbal)<br />✔ Ability to <strong>thrive in a hands-on, blue-collar work environment</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications (Assets):</strong></p><ul><li> Aesthetic or ergonomic design experience</li><li>Experience working with manufacturers or vendors (especially overseas)</li><li>Experience in the <strong>medical or rehab industry</strong></li></ul><p>If you're looking for an opportunity where your engineering skills make a real impact, apply now and join our team! </p><p> </p><p> </p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
