<p>As a <strong>Tax Manager</strong> in our Domestic Tax team, you’ll work with a wide variety of clients and build your experience in new industries. <h3>Role Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Coaching and mentoring tax colleagues on compliance and client service, discussing tax planning options</li>
<li>Establishing trusting relationships with clients and advising on complex tax issues</li>
<li>Reviewing corporate compliance engagements and analyzing, reviewing, and completing tax returns</li>
<li>Proactively resolving tax-related issues with clients and team members</li>
<li>Leading growth initiatives in our tax practice, identifying new service opportunities</li>
</ul>
<h3>A Typical Day</h3>
<p>You might speak with a CFO from an agricultural client, work through tax solutions with a Tax Partner, review files with team members, and plan upcoming client meetings—all while enjoying a flavored sparkling water from our stocked fridge.</p>
<h3>Candidate Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Enrolled in or completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or hold a Masters of Taxation</li>
<li>Experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance</li>
<li>Ability to develop and present innovative tax solutions</li>
<li>Mentoring and team development skills</li>
</ul>
