This is a contract position.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong>Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, the Azure AI ecosystem, and Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and deploying generative AI solutions on the Azure platform, preferably in the automotive domain. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cutting-edge AI technologies and who can interface with cross functional teams to come up unique solutions.<br><br><strong>Summary Of Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions using Python and Azure AI services.</li><li>Utilize Databricks components for data preparation, model training, and deployment.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable AI solutions.</li><li>Implement and optimize solutions using OpenAI-based models and large language models (LLMs).</li><li>Apply techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI in solution design.</li><li>Ensure best practices in model governance, performance, and security.</li><li>Work closely with teams across different time zones.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to a team-oriented consulting environment.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Basics<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of industry experience in machine learning and AI solution development.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.</li><li>Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI development on Azure.</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python.</li><li>Experience with Azure AI services and Databricks is a must.</li><li>Experience in the automotive domain is preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a consulting environment.</li><li>Team player comfortable working with distributed teams and offshore collaboration.</li><li>AI Experience.</li><li>Automotive Electrical Domain Experience.</li><li>Automation and Simulation Tools Experience.</li><li>Hybrid position.</li><li>No driving of a vehicle required.</li><li>No travelling required.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.</li><li>Experience developing and deploying GenAI solutions using OpenAI models on Azure.</li><li>Knowledge of RAG, large language models, and agentic AI frameworks.</li><li>Exposure to Agile methodologies and AI project delivery.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>How You Will Be Successful<br><br></strong><ul><li>Envision the Future</li><li>Communicate Honestly and Broadly</li><li>Seek Technology and Business “First”</li><li>Embrace Diversity and Take Risks<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Comprehensive Benefit Package</li><li>Group Retirement Savings Plan (GRSP) with matching contributions</li><li>Paid holidays and vacation time off</li><li>Free training on all Altair products<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Work With Us<br><br></strong>Altair is a global technology company providing software and cloud solutions in the areas of data analytics, product development, and high-performance computing (HPC).
