Whether youre loading orders, maintaining stock, or keeping the yard tidy, youll be an important part of our hardworking team that keeps Muskoka building. <br />Key Responsibilities: As a Lumber Yard Attendant at Muskoka Lumber, youll play a critical role in the day-to-day yard <span >operationssupporting</span> both customer satisfaction and team efficiency.</p><ul><li>Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and customer vehicles</li><li>Prepare customer orders accurately based on sales orders and delivery slips</li><li>Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely (after receiving proper certification)</li><li>Receive and verify incoming shipments against bills of lading or purchase orders</li><li>Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to the Receiving Clerk or Supervisor</li><li>Perform regular yard and warehouse housekeeping duties</li><li>Complete lawn maintenance tasks as needed, including grass cutting and trimming</li><li>Maintain clear and safe aisles, walkways, and loading zones</li><li>Assist customers in locating and loading materials in a courteous and helpful manner</li><li>Follow all company health and safety policies, including PPE use and hazard reporting</li><li>Participate in training sessions and toolbox talks as scheduled</li><li>Support other tasks or departments as required by Management</li></ul><p><br />What You Bring: At Muskoka Lumber, were looking for more than just experiencewe value dependability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to grow.
