Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Provides direct patient care</li><li>Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation</li><li>Conducts initial and ongoing assessments</li><li>prepare specific care plan for each client after assessments</li><li>Delegate tasks to HCAs for specific clients</li><li>Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications</li><li>Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice</li><li>Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions</li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br /><ul><li>Current certificate of competence and good standing</li><li>Certified in CPR</li><li>Strong clinical skills</li><li>Negative TB test or chest x-ray</li><li>Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li></ul><br /></p></p>
