This is a unionized care home with excellent benefits and a supportive leadership team.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the healthcare of all residents, including communication with families and staff.</li><li>Assist the Nursing Leadership Team with medication management, including administration and ordering.</li><li>Provide direct supervision of care provided by LPNs and Care Aides.</li><li>Foster a homelike atmosphere for residents.</li><li>Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity.</li><li>Train and educate care team and nursing staff on an ongoing basis.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of Practical Nurse program from an accredited educational institution.</li><li>Full scope of practice Licensed Practical Nurse with membership in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.</li><li>Minimum of two years experience supervising care delivery in a supportive living care environment.</li><li>Strong desire to enhance the lives of seniors.</li><li>Computer literate and familiar with electronic health records.</li><li>Current and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><ul><li>Conveniently situated on the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, Innisfail is a thriving mid-sized community just 15 minutes south of Red Deer and an hour north of Calgary.
