<p><strong><u>Job Description – Legal Counsel </u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our client </strong></p><ul><li>Is a private equity firm in Downtown Toronto.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate a range of transaction documents, including purchase agreements, limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and side letters</li><li>Review and negotiate various firm-related agreements, contracts, and supporting documentation</li><li>Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with internal teams on transactional and firm-wide matters</li><li>Manage and direct external legal counsel and advisors to support transactions and related initiatives</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>2-6 years of corporate M&A experience.</li><li>Experience with private equity, debt or funds is an asset but not required.</li><li>A license to practice in Ontario.</li><li>Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and drafting skills.</li><li>High level of attention to detail.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ref# LI1322</strong></p>
