<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><br /><strong>Estimator – ICI Construction</strong><p><strong>Hamilton, ON | $100K–$120K + benefits | Full-time, Permanent</strong></p><p>A reputable ICI contractor is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on new build projects ranging from $5M to $100M. This is a full-time role with a growing firm that values precision, professionalism, and long-term team members.</p><p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and full estimates for ICI tenders</p></li><li><p>Review drawings, specs, and tender requirements</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and compare pricing from subtrades and suppliers</p></li><li><p>Identify scope gaps and potential risks in bid packages</p></li><li><p>Support bid closings and contribute to project handoff meetings</p></li></ul><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of estimating experience in ICI construction</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of takeoff and pricing practices</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with CCDC contracts and public-sector tendering</p></li><li><p>Proficient with Excel and estimating software (Planswift, Procore Estimating, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Diploma or degree in a construction-related field preferred</p></li></ul></p></p>
