<p>We are seeking a skilled Service and Testing Professional to join our team. </p>Job Description:<br/>The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.<br/>Responsibilities:<br/><ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or other specifications</li><li>Measure and lay out reference points for installation</li><li>Use hand and power tools to assemble, install, and repair units</li><li>Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices</li><li>Perform testing of HVAC systems</li><li>Routine maintenance or service, including system maintenance, recharge, checking and testing regulators, calibrating system</li><li>Conduct troubleshooting and repairs for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heat pump, electrical, and control systems</li></ul><br/>Qualifications:<br/><ul><li>Secondary School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Post-secondary education in HVAC Technician or related field preferred</li><li>G2 gas license is required</li><li>3 years' experience in HVAC testing, repair and/or servicing; working with electrical components required</li><li>Experience with commercial air handling units and working in a manufacturing setting an asset</li><li>Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to lift heavy parts (50 lbs.) and sheet metal on a frequent basis; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to crouch, climb, reach, twist, and bend</li><li>Ability to work in a team or group environment and independently with minimal instruction</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines</li><li>Strong English written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and interpersonal skills to work with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds</li></ul><br/>Work Details:<br/><ul><li>Day shift</li><li>$30-36/hr (dependent on work experience)</li><li>Full-time</li></ul><br/>Application Information:<br/>Please state your work authorization status: Study permit?
