<p><b> </b><b>ROLE: Health & Safety Coordinator (12-month contract– Upton, QC)</b></p>
<p><b> </b>We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team for a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in occupational health and safety within a dynamic environment. The H&S Coordinator will support the implementation of safety programs, assist with compliance initiatives, and contribute to fostering a safe and healthy workplace culture.</p>

<p><b>Reports to</b><b>:</b> National Health and Safety Director</p>
<p><b>Work Mode:</b> On-site</p>

<p><b>Salary:</b> TBA</p>
<p><b>Shift/Time:</b> Mon-Fri, (9:00am-5:00pm)</p>
<p><b>Term: </b>Temporary-Full Time, 12-months</p>
<p><b>Education:</b> Recent graduate from Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.</p>

<p><b>JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Facilitate monthly Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings</li>
<li>Ensure all KPI/Safety milestones are completed</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.</li>
<li>Stay informed on relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.</li>
<li>Assist in conducting workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.</li>
<li>Support the development and delivery of safety training and awareness programs.</li>
<li>Help maintain and update safety documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.</li>
<li>Participate in incident investigations and assist in tracking corrective actions.</li>
<li>Contributes to data collection and analysis for safety performance metrics.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing materials for safety meetings and toolbox talks.</li>
</ul>
<p><b> </b><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Recent graduate from a Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong interest in workplace health and safety and a desire to learn.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Bilingual (French and English) is required.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license may be required depending on site location.</li>
