<p><strong>Head of Purchasing/Purchasing Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Burlington - Hybrid Model</strong></p><p><strong>$130,000 - $150,000 + bonus + benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Our Manufacturing/Building Services client based in Burlington is looking for a Procurement Leader to run with Purchasing department. </p><p><br></p><p>They are looking for an experienced people manager to manage a team of 4 and an annual spend of between $150-$200m on electronic and mechanical parts, equipment and components for big projects. </p><p><br></p><p>The focus of the role is to develop relationships with vendors and negotiate more favorable terms and contracts. </p><p><br></p><p>Although this title is Purchasing Manager, this is the most senior Purchasing role within the company, reporting into the COO, with high potential for growth and development. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>As the ideal candidate, you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years Purchasing experience within a project, manufacturing or construction environment</li><li>5+ years Management experience</li><li>Experience developing a Procurement team and department</li><li>Exceptional listening and communication skills (high EQ)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applicants, only those individuals chosen for an interview will be contacted</em></p><p></p>
