Job Description

<p>We're looking for an <strong>Intermediate Designer</strong> to join our retail client's team on a full-time, 4-5 month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in-office in Mississauga 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be a task-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is adept at juggling multiple projects with a sense of urgency. You'll primarily focus on digital design, with a minimal amount of print work.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and produce digital assets, including emails, social media posts for platforms like Meta, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, as well as web cards.</li><li>Develop and use holiday templates to increase efficiency for high-volume email campaigns.</li><li>Receive and implement feedback from team members and brand teams to refine designs.</li><li>Work collaboratively to create designs from provided copy and images.</li><li>Create and edit short video clips (9-13 seconds) using Adobe After Effects to add supers and transitions.</li><li>Produce animated GIFs for email campaigns.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years of design experience, specifically beyond a junior-level role.</li><li>Strong multichannel and digital design background, including email and social media.</li><li>Design for Retail. <strong>Experience with women's fashion is essential.</strong></li><li>Proficiency with design software, including Figma and Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.</li><li>Experience with project management tools, such as WorkFront.</li><li>Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Openness to receiving and incorporating feedback.</li><li>Ability to design in both English and French (translations will be provided).</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you're an intermediate designer with a passion for digital and retail design, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.
