The ideal candidate will be a leader with modern practices and a background in IT back-office leadership. This role is critical for providing guidance and support to the team and helping the organization bridge its gap in cloud technology and modern infrastructure approaches. The position will report directly to the CIO and help establish a performance-driven culture within the team.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Manage a team of 3-4 managers overseeing infrastructure, change/help desk, data, and potentially enterprise architecture.</li><li>Help set and align team goals for the year.</li><li>Provide leadership and support for performance management, as the team has not been previously managed in this way.</li><li>Directly oversee core infrastructure, data centers, databases, servers, ITSM, and data management.</li><li>Help the organization navigate its transition from traditional data center solutions to modern cloud platforms.</li><li>Assist in setting and executing the vision for the team.</li><li>Provide support to team members and other leaders who may lack technical experience.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience:</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience as a leader managing technical teams.</li><li>10 plus years of Information Technology work experience.</li><li>Background in IT back-office leadership and core infrastructure.</li><li>Experience with data architecture, infrastructure, and end-user experience, including cloud platforms, traditional data centers, and service desk operations.</li><li>Strong understanding of data management and data platforms.</li><li>Understanding of the synergy between infrastructure and cybersecurity.</li><li>Experience with managing and understanding budgets.</li><li>Demonstrated tenacity, initiative, and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a "soft" approach to navigate relationships within the organization&#39;s culture.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Experience with Azure and cloud cost management.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce</li><li>Experience with Top Desk or similar Service Desk Tools.</li><li>Experience with public speaking or presenting.</li><li>Experience with agricultural services.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Applicants must be currently eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada for the engagement.</em></p><p><strong>Final candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check, including a criminal record check, and verification of credentials.</strong>**</p><p><br /></p></p></p>
