TPH has been named <strong>North America&#39;s most forest-friendly printer</strong> and one of <strong>Canada&#39;s Greenest Employers.</strong></p><p>We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic <strong>Creative Designer </strong>who will be responsible for pre-press production including print readiness of supplied files, creation of specialty ink layers, specialty after press embellishment layers, readiness for DTG apparel printing and more.</p><p>The work that the <strong>Creative Designer </strong>does, is important, as this is where the print files are confirmed ready to print, special layers are added for custom inks, custom finishing, custom apparel printing and other finishing touches and embellishments happen. You will be adding value to every project by ensuring that the final product meets the specifications requested by the customer, and the quality that <strong>TPH</strong> is known for.</p><br /><p><strong>Job Type: Current Vacancy for </strong><strong>Full-time, Permanent.</strong></p><p><strong>Compensation range:</strong> $22-$23 per hour based on experience </p><p><strong>Expected hours:</strong> 40 per week.</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Dental Care</p><p>Employee Assistance Program</p><p>Life Insurance</p><p>Prescription Drug coverage</p><p>Vison Care</p><p>Paid time off</p><p>Extended Health Care</p><p>Learning and Development</p><p>Rewards and Recognition</p><br /><p>You are a person who understands the importance of meeting deadlines and ensuring that only the best quality is delivered on time every time.</p><p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Pre-flighting Customer files against work order specifications</li><li>Preparing digital, offset, large format and 4-colour files for output.</li><li>Ensuring that custom apparel graphics are setup for compatibility with our technology.</li><li>Operating DTG-Custom Apparel printers and finishing equipment.</li><li>Working with various programs: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Pit Stop, MS Office</li><li>Working with and manipulating printable PDF&#39;s</li><li>Consulting with Customers on design, layout and making revisions as required.</li><li>Maintaining accuracy & detail in a fast paced, deadline driven environment</li><li>Good understanding of the Pantone Colour System, CMYK & RGB colour spaces</li></ul><br /><p>The ideal candidate enjoys a role with variety and collaboration with other team members and is looking for career advancement opportunities.
