The Cloud Solutions Team Lead is a single-threaded, experienced technical lead, responsible for guiding and mentoring the team, ensuring high-quality project delivery and maintaining best practices. Team Leads mentor the team on technical efficiency. Team Leads are excited by technical mentorship, problem-solving, and technology. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating tasks, and providing hands-on technical expertise to solve complex problems. The Cloud Solution Team Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, conducts reviews, ensures adherence to standards, and fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential for this position.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of cloud administrators, fostering a collaborative work environment.</li><li>Deploy, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure components including virtual networks, subnets, virtual machines, containers, serverless, storage, IAM, VDI, logging, and monitoring.</li><li>Manage the development and deployment of cloud business solutions.</li><li>Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.</li><li>Act as the subject matter expert and perform regular management and administration tasks for all cloud services including upgrades, patching, backup, restore, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.</li><li>Automate the provisioning of cloud environments to provide fast and reliable services to a rapidly growing client.</li><li>Assist with the automation of cloud deployment, provisioning, and management tasks.</li><li>Monitor cost of storage, compute, and general utilization of the cloud platform.</li><li>Contribute to disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing activities.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation.</li><li>Drive meetings with subject matter experts from all areas of the business to seek input and plan/coordinate migrations, resource requirements and timelines.</li><li>Maintain and help lead a culture of exceptional client care, team synergy, learning, and growth.</li><li>Inspire the JANA team in a positive, high-performance way, demonstrating a passion for our Culture, our People, and our Mission.</li><li>Support the development and deployment of JANA’s programs or systems, and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.</li><li>4+ years’ experience working with Azure cloud and GCP; experience with AWS is considered an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with multiple cloud services and technologies including virtual machines/VM scale sets, containers and AKS, App Service, Azure Functions, databases, Azure AD, Data Factory, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure Files, Network Security Groups, etc. SQL.</li><li>Completed AZ-104 certification.</li><li>Experience supporting the management of secure cloud operations and corporate networks.</li><li>Experience in configuring and deploying secure, scalable, and high-availability enterprise systems.</li><li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present ideas in business-friendly language.</li><li>Highly self-motivated and directed; team-oriented and collaborative.</li><li>Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task across various projects in a high-paced environment to meet deadlines.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Azure Entra and SQL user management.</li><li>Understanding of and some experience with DevOps.</li><li>Experience with cloud automation and IaC template deployments to Azure (PowerShell, ARM and Bicep) is a plus.</li><li>Experience with PowerBI Administrator and GCP BigQuery.</li><li>Exposure to security.</li></ul><h3>Legally Required Notice</h3><p>JANA is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process; in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
