Sustained by its 65 years experience, Manitoulin developed the transportation knowledge that is relied on and trusted by clients in various industries.  </p>Job Description<br><br><p>We are looking for a full-time Class 1 LCV linehaul driver for a switch run between Yellowknife and Enterprise with a departure time of 5:00 pm daily, Monday to Friday. This is a pin to pin position. The successful candidate will be responsible for:</p><ol><li>Safely operating and maneuvering Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs) on highway routes.</li><li>Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Accurately logging driving hours, rest periods, and other relevant information in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.</li><li>Efficiently loading and unloading freight, ensuring proper securing of cargo.</li><li>Maintaining clear communication with dispatch, customers, and other drivers as needed.</li><li>Adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.</li><li>Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries, or vehicle maintenance issues to management.</li><li>Assisting with route planning and optimization when necessary.</li><li>Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.</li><li>Completing all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Participating in ongoing safety training and professional development programs.</li><li>Demonstrating flexibility in schedule to accommodate occasional weekend or holiday work as required.</li></ol><p><strong>Driver must reside in the Yellowknife area, no fly-in options.
