We utilize technology, share accurate information, and respond promptly. Borealis performs service work, delivers fuel to customers, and has a network of bulk transport vehicles moving fuel across Canada and the USA.</p><p><br /></p><p>Job Description</p><p><br /></p><p>Summary:</p><p><br /></p><p>This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual needs to be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible work environment. This position will mainly be responsible for fuel deliveries and also helping with new tank installs. Customer service is emphasized here, as this is a key role for Borealis.</p><p><br /></p><p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Support Borealis vision to LPG service excellence in the Yukon;</li><li>Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes:<ul><li>climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more);</li><li>pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required;</li><li>lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter;</li><li>interface with MOGO in the bulk truck;</li><li>Support the development of routes in MOGO with the Dispatch Coordinator;</li></ul></li><li>Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes:<ul><li>climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging;</li><li>safely operate the crane (experience and training may be required);</li></ul></li><li>Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors' yards when required;</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><span >Education/Experience:</span></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Minimum High School Diploma</li><li>Class 1 or 3 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement</li><li>Bulk handling, bottle fill PTI recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), TDG</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Position Requirements</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry</li><li>Proficient with computers and office software</li><li>Exceptional communication and time management skills.</li><li>Multitasking and the ability to work with teams.</li><li>Solid knowledge of the Alberta Oil and Gas industry is an asset</li><li>Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality</li><li>Attention to detail and a self-starter</li><li>Fit for duty and physically able to perform the above duties safely.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
