We provide clients with pure, objective advice, focusing on strategies that can help meet corporate or shareholder objectives. Our Corporate Finance team in Toronto is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference.<br><br>As an Associate Vice-President, Corporate Finance Inc. you will develop extensive transaction advisory experience through your involvement in the day-to-day execution of our mandates.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with preparation of pitch books, teasers and confidential information memorandums and management presentations</li><li>Prepare integrated historical and projected financial models to support key decision making</li><li>Assist in identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers and/or investors.</li><li>Communicate directly with a variety of parties including clients, other advisors and transaction counterparties.</li><li>Assist in coordinating and organizing due diligence for clients.</li><li>Provide analytical and market research information (i.e. public company pricing multiples, industry research, etc.)<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring To The Role<br><br></strong><ul><li>CPA and/or CFA designation required</li><li>Post-secondary degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting</li><li>Proven track record of project execution in a similar fast-paced professional setting</li><li>Strong technical finance proficiency, including knowledge of financial statements, valuation and general accounting principles</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word</li><li>Highly motivated, committed, and flexible to work and succeed within changing priorities and strict deadlines.</li><li>Attention to detail with proven organizational skills and an ability to solve complex technical problems<br><br></li></ul><strong>Providing you with the support you need to be at your best<br><br></strong><strong>Our Values, The KPMG Way<br><br></strong><strong>Integrity</strong>, we do what is right | <strong>Excellence</strong>, we never stop learning and improving | <strong>Courage</strong>, we think and act boldly | <strong>Together</strong>, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | <strong>For Better</strong>, we do what matters<br><br>KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
