With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and integrity, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated <span >Accountant/Bookkeeper</span> to join our team in Prince George, BC.<br><br>If you're a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and enjoys a balance of structure and variety in your work, this opportunity could be a great fit.<br><br><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manage the full accounting cycle for one or more of our corporate entities.</li><li>Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices (inter-company and third-party billings).</li><li>Monitor AR activity and <span >investigate/reconcile</span> discrepancies.</li><li>Reconcile supplier and inter-company accounts, and process payments.</li><li>Maintain and track fixed assets</li><li>Perform complete amortization and depreciation calculations, ensuring accurate asset values and compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Complete bank and account reconciliations.</li><li>Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and adjustments.</li><li>Ensure all inter-company balances are up to date and reconciled.</li><li>Prepare and file GST, PST, payroll, and other tax remittances accurately and on time.</li><li>Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including financial reporting.</li><li>Prepare year-end working papers for internal review and coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely completion of annual financial statements.</li><li>Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.</li><li>Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and support for job estimating and project tracking.</li><li>Assist with general office administration and provide reception desk support as needed.</li></ul><br /><b>Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of full-cycle <span >bookkeeping/accounting</span> experience.</li><li>Previous experience in construction, forestry, or industrial services is preferred.</li><li>Post-secondary accounting education; CPA, CGA, or CA designation is an asset but not required.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software, Excel, and Office 365 systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with team members across departments.</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.</li></ul><br /><b>Why Join Falcon?</b><ul><li>Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.</li><li>Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.</li><li>Be part of a diversified, forward-thinking company with stability and a strong future.</li><li>Work on meaningful projects that make an impact across multiple industries in Western Canada.</li></ul><p><br />We appreciate the interest of all applicants.
